More from ThunderCon 1 in 1991

Howdy friends, here are some scans from ThunderCon 1, which took place at OKC's Central Plaza Hotel (now it's a Clarion of some kind).

Yes, that's a very busy flyer.  And if I had me say, I would have pointed out that on the front side, "make-up" appears twice, once with the correct hyphen and once without.  You'll also see that the Tentative Guest was emphatically scratched out.

Courtesy of our lamented brother Paul Cherry, here is his badge.

I was Video Chair, so you may blame me for the eclectic schedule.  Yes, it was typed (by me) and dummied up with boffo art by Kevin Hopkins, resident artistic genius.

Those of a certain age will recall the OTHER name for ThunderCon:  LMC, "Larry's Media Con."

More to come next week!  Tell your friends!

  1. YOU do all the premiere-of-a-new-con promo and graphics on 1991-era Macs... AND prep for a weeding 3 weeks later... and see how many typos YOU come up with! :-D

  2. Man, Larry, you spoiled the surprise. The wedding evidence will get revealed AFTER the ThunderCon 1 stuff!
